Please check if ‘com.paragon-software.ntfsd ‘ is enabled for launch in System Preferences.

Open System Preferences, then go to – Security and Privacy – Privacy – Full Disk Access

Click on lock to make changes, and Allow the component to load. Then check if the issue is resolved.

Go to solution 4 if this does not resolve the issue

Solution 4

Try to reload NTFS kext.

Execute these Terminal commands (Go to Applications – Utilities – Terminal):

sudo kextunload /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

You may need to proceed to:

Apple menu → System Preferences → Security and Privacy → General and allow our extension if a message appears stating that the action must be performed in System Preferences.

If there are no pending actions, execute this Terminal command:

sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

If you receive an error after executing the last command containing “unable to resolve dependencies… names a dependency on …. which was not found“, please proceed as follows:

execute the following Terminal command:

diskutil apfs list

check the Name of the volume with the System Role (for instance, Macintosh HD).

Execute the following command:

kmutil trigger-panic-medic -R “/Volumes/SystemVolumeName

where

SystemVolumeName – the volume with the system role from the previous command

Reboot as usual, go to

Apple menu → System Preferences → Security and Privacy → General and allow our extension.

Go to solution 5 if this does not resolve the issue.

Ntfs For Mac Free Download

Enable NTFS for Mac components to load, in case if they’re not loaded or disabled.

Enter these commands in Terminal:

sudo launchctl enable system/com.paragon-software.ntfsd

sudo launchctl enable system/com.paragon-software.ntfs.loader

Next try to reboot your Mac – check driver functionality after reboot, also please check driver functionality with other devices and/or connection. Go to solution 6 if this does not resolve the issue.

Solution 6

Reinstall the driver.

  • uninstall the driver (On Menu Bar, press Paragon NTFS for Mac 15- Preferences… and in General tab of Preferences GUI, press Uninstall button, or run NTFS for Mac installer and select “Uninstall Paragon NTFS for Mac“)
  • reboot
  • install the latest version, downloaded from your MyParagon account or from the product page
  • reboot
  • check driver functionality

If you still can’t use the driver and get an error that the bundle is damaged Go to solution 7 if this does not resolve the issue.

Solution 7

Fix permissions on your Mac and change ownership:.

  • Open Terminal Window (Go to Applications – Utilities – Terminal), then (For OS X El Capitan, not for macOS Sierra) run command to fix permissions:

    sudo /usr/libexec/repair_packages –repair –standard-pkgs –volume /

  • Then run this command:

    sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

  • Reboot
  • Check driver functionality
  • If the problem still appears, then go to the next step

Solution 8

Allow our Kernel Extension to load using Recovery Mode.

Boot into Recovery Mode and type this into Terminal utility:

spctl kext-consent add LSJ6YVK468

Then Launch macOS and execute these commands:

sudo kextcache -clear-staging
sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

Then launch NTFS for Mac and check if the issue is resolved.

Disable System Integrity Protection.

If nothing helps

Please launch Terminal and type:
sudo kextutil -vvv /Library/Extensions/ufsd_NTFS.kext

Send output to Support Team. Don’t forget to attach Verbose Logs:

  1. In NTFS15 menu, choose Paragon NTFS for Mac 15 – Preferences. then make sure System report format is set to Extended (Verbose mode).
  2. Then please reproduce your problem.
  3. Then find the logs archive, created using Help – Save Logs.
